All resident students are required to participate in our Ultimate Dining Plan. This plan provides unlimited access into the Smith Dining Center in the Campus Center during operating hours.

As a resident student you select your meal plan on Today@Dean in the Housing and Dining section. Don't forget to add flexibility and guest passes to your dining plan and add Boomer Bucks when you sign up!

Yes! We offer four meal plans designed just for our commuter students and you are also able to participate in the Unlimited Plan.  Review the plan descriptions on our Dining Plans page for the one that’s best for you. 

Boomer Bucks are declining balance funds that are accessed via your student ID card.  You may add Boomer Bucks at anytime throughout the semester, online, by calling us at 508-541-1564, or by stopping in the dining office in Smith Dining Center.

Boomer Bucks may be used at any of our on campus dining locations as well as select off campus Franklin restuarants. Off campus dining locations are Domino's Pizza, Maguro House, MacCity and Franklin Pizza & Deli.

If you run out of Boomer Bucks before the end of the semester, you may deposit additional funds to your account by cash, check or credit card. You may add funds online,call the office at 508-541-1564, or stop by the dining office located in Smith Dining Center. Boomer Bucks carry over from fall to spring semester. Any unused Bucks are forfeited at the end of the spring semester.

Yes, our dedicated staff is happy accommodate students with special dietary needs. We provide nutritional facts on the dining menus within the dining room and post possible allergen alerts where applicable. In addition, we offer menu items that accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets. For individual needs, please self-identify with our general manager Ray Kluglein.  Ray will be able to assist you in your daily menu planning. Ray may be reached by email or by phone at 508-541-1564. In addition to Ray, you may connect with our regional dietitian, Karen Jew. Karen is available for consultations and may be reached by email.  

Many of our meals are gluten free and we do not use nuts in the preparation of our meals. Being a self-service dining room, cross-contact cannot be completely eliminated. We have an area called MyZone. My Zone is a “pantry” where food items needed by customers with celiac disease or tree and peanut food allergies can be housed with precautions against cross-contamination. This special area gives students the ability to be involved in their own allergen-safe meal preparation.  My Zone will always be free of gluten-containing ingredients and products, as well as tree nut and peanut products. . Please check in with our general manager, so that he, our executive chef, and our dining team are all aware of your allergies.

Smith Dining Center is open to the public. You are awarded Guest Passes when you purchase Boomer Bucks. If you do not have guest passes you may pay the door price using Boomer Bucks, Cash or Credit Card upon entry.
